CSEM is a Swiss privately owned non-profit R&D company. Around 450 employees are working for the organization and generate a turnover of 80 Mio CHF. CSEM is realizing the transfer of micro and nano technologies to the industry in Switzerland, Europe and worldwide. CSEM's technology solutions foster innovations and are applied in broad market areas.
CSEM covers the complete process chain of complex micro systems: from design to manufacturing and system integration. CSEM has been certified to ISO 9001. The CSEM systems division has been certified to ISO 13485 Medical Devices - QMS since 2014.

CSEM, founded in 1984, is a Swiss research and development ceter (public-private partnership) specializing in microtechnology, nanotechnology, microelectronics, system engineering, photovoltaics and communications technologies. Around 450 highly qualified specialists from various scientific and technicla disciplines work for CSEM in Neuchâtel, Zurich, Muttenz, Aplnach, and Landquart.
