SYSTEMS INTEGRATION 2018

Building Blocks for Industrial Digitalization
Jan 16, 2018
Alpnach, CH

CSEM Alpnach, Untere Gründlistrasse 1, 6055 Alpnach Dorf, Switzerland
“Systems Integration” is a series of conferences that the IVAM Microtechnology Network has been conducting regularly since 2008 with varying partners and varying topics in different European countries.

The conference provides an opportunity for manufacturers and users to share intelligent applications of microtechnology and MEMS solutions. The emphasis is on the integration of different processes and products into systems. The past events took place in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Finland.

The Systems Integration on January 16, 2018 at CSEM in Alpnach, Switzerland will focus on digitalization and its impact on the automation of the production and development of new microtechnical and MEMS components and products. The addition of digital tools and concepts to traditional manufacturing processes allows for more effective, time-saving and cost-effective production. Through automated production and quality control, defects can be avoided and customer satisfaction increased.

Two conference sessions entitled “Industrial Automation” and “Innovative Production Processes” present the status of the introduction of IT-supported solutions. Which hardware components are necessary and available? What software is available? How far should or can automation go? How can new production processes, e.g. the printing of electronic components on flexible substrates, be integrated into established processes? Which new products are possible by adding digital properties?

Presenters and participants can discuss to what extent the presented concepts can be adopted in their products and productions.

The conference language is German.
